How to Deal with People who Steal Your Content Ideas

When it comes to showing up on social media, you’ve probably wondered the following things.

Am I giving too much away?

And if I give all this stuff away for free, then who will actually pay for my services and my products?

If everyone is just going to copy me, what’s the point of even creating free content?

Trust me, I have been there.

When I was starting my YouTube and business journey, there were so many sources telling me to either keep all my secrets or to let them all go.

It’s a confusing place out there.

I’m sharing two things to specifically tackle this for you.

TIP #1: BEWARE THE COPY CATS

If you are a content creator, business owner, or soon-to-be business owner,  there will come a point in your journey where you will encounter this frustrating situation where you catch someone either ripping off your work.

What can you do about it?

Who can you sue?

How should you react?

The copy cats are ready, but so are you.

Now that I’ve scared you into never creating free content again…

I’ll also be the one to let you know that free content is what will take you farther.

TIP #2: GIVE YOUR BEST TIPS AWAY

Paid content is great,

But FREE content brings people in.

On one hand, you want to give away free content in order to build Know, Like and Trust with your audience.

But on the other hand…

You are still running a business and not necessarily a charity.

If you want to have a peace of mind on this topic and you don’t want to stress anymore on whether or not you’re doing the right thing, then check out this video to get more insight!

If you ever find yourself in this kind of predicament, you can always come back here to reference my tips.

How are you feeling now that you are the master of your own content?

I hope this sets you up for an amazing week ahead!
